Albert A. Macasek

ALBERT A. MACASEK, age 86; beloved husband of Pamela (nee Potter); loving father of Stephen, Michael (Cindy), Gregory (Nadine), Suzanne Zampino (Lou), Anthony (Renee) and Jeffrey (Lindsay); devoted grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of four; preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.  Al was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Cleveland on July 4, 1950; he retired as a Lieutenant from the Cleveland Fire Department after 25 years of service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Rd, Broadview Heights, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00am.  Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00am.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude children’s research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.  Online condolences may be submitted at GDFH.net.
