PHILLIP DELIBERATO, Age 58, of Cleveland and West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on March 13, 2019 in Juno Beach, Florida; cherished son of Anthony and the late Dolores Deliberato (nee Waszkowski); loving brother of Kathy Rutter (Bob), Anthony Deliberato, D.D.S. (Diane), Donna Dulik (Mark) and Rosanne Schultz (Bill); dearest uncle of 14 nieces and nephews. Phil graduated from Garfield Heights High School in 1978 and played running back on the school’s undefeated football team. He studied architecture at Kent State University and attended Palm Beach Atlantic University and Florida Atlantic University. He worked as a professional ocean lifeguard in Palm Beach, Florida and as a draftsman in California working on such diverse projects as the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and the MGM Residences in Las Vegas. Phil was an avid runner and triathlete, and competed in numerous triathlons, earning All-American HM status from the United States Triathlon Federation (Masters Division). Phil was an Apple enthusiast and worked as a Wellness Advocate and Specialist for Apple, Inc. in Florida, Utah, and California. He authored several articles for Healing Our World Magazine, Hippocrates Health Institute. Family and friends are welcome to meet at St. Basil The Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 am.
