Robert Charles Snyderwine Sr.

ROBERT C. SNYDERWINE SR, age 93 of Garfield Heights, OH, formerly of Erie and Sharon, PA, passed away July 20, 2018; beloved husband of Mary Ann: loving father of Paul (Pepper), David (deceased), Marie Ore (Tom), Elizabeth , Marti (Sue), Bob Jr. (Carol) and John ; cherished grandfather of 13; dear brother of Peggy Miller (BV, deceased) and Msgr. Tom Snyderwine. Bob was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and worked at Erie Malleable Iron Co. (now Accuride). He was a pioneer in Erie, PA, writing his own accounting system in machine code and with punch cards. He was an avid camper and enjoyed fishing and boating.  Bob was a participant in Boy Scouts of America and he was awarded Silver Beaver by the French Creek Council, and the St. George Medal by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting.  He belonged to the Erie, PA Rotary International and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Sacrament in Erie and St. Gabriel in Mentor, OH. FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2018 FROM 4:30-7:30PM.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Assisi Chapel at Villa Saint Joseph, 5100 Marymount Village Dr. Garfield Hts., OH 44125 on Friday, July   27, 2018 at 10:30 am. VISITATION AT ASSISI CHAPEL FRIDAY, JULY   27, 2018 9:30-10:30 AM (ONE HOUR PRIOR TO MASS).  The family requests memorials be made to Marymount Village at the address listed above.
