Andrew J. Vavrek, age 92, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Beloved husband of 71 years of Bernice (nee Ruzicka). Loving father of Andrea DeBrouse (John) and Cheryl Brown (Jim). Devoted grandfather of Roseanne Snopel (Eric), Ashley Palko, Michael Palko (Amanda), Jacqueline Brown, Zachary Brown and Vanessa Brown. Cherished great grandfather of Alexis, Jason, & Andreana. Dear brother of Edward Vavrek and Margaret Pallisano (the late Jim), and several deceased brothers and sisters. Andrew was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 13623 Rockside Rd., Garfield Hts., at 10 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment to follow with full military honors at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, Ohio. Donations may be made in his memory to Crossroads Hospice.
