CYNTHIA ANN JERIC (nee Garsig) of Twinsburg, Ohio was born December 7, 1942 in Canton, Ohio to John and Sophie Garsig. Beloved wife for 58 years to James Jeric; loving mother to DeAnna Skiba (Anthony) and Jennifer Phillips (Shawn); dearest grandmother to four boys that were the joy of her life, AJ (27), Jacob (24), Peyton (21) and Zachary (18). Sister to Elaine Flaherty (deceased) and aunt and friend to many.
Cindy had a zest for life like no other and enjoyed every minute to the fullest. She loved traveling and was a gracious and joyful host for many bus trips. She was so proud of her Polish heritage and loved polka music and dancing, as well as planning Polish events. She had a special talent for setting the most beautiful dinner tables and enjoyed hosting Victorian teas for her girlfriends. She was a devoted wife and her and Jim always took such good care of each other. Not only was she DeAnna and Jennifer's mother, she was also their best friend. Her infectious laugh and silliness created so many special memories. She was so proud of her four handsome grandsons. She supported them at all their sporting events and band performances and would get the biggest smile every time she saw them.
Cindy was the Founder of St. Rita's Empty Nesters that began in 1995, she was the Queen Mother of Red Hat Society since 2002, the Founder of "A Step Back in Time" Victoria Ladies Tea Society and was the President of the American Business Women's Association. She managed the Word Processing Department for Lamson & Sessions for 10 years and then retired as an Executive Assistant from the Giant Eagle Corporate Office.
Everything was just so much more fun whenever Cindy was present. She was cherished and loved by so many who will miss her.
Instead of a formal funeral home memorial, Cindy wanted a "celebration of life" gathering with a service at Twin Haven Reception Hall (10439 Ravenna Road in Twinsburg). Please direct any interest in attending the service by emailing jphillips0526@neo.rr.com or calling 330-715-6030 so we can inform you of the time and location.
