Elizabeth "Betty" Lamatrice (nee D'Agostino) age 85; daughter of Carmelo and Catherine (both deceased); beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Carmie Garcowski (Gary), Kathy Marazzi (Curtis), Joseph Lamatrice Jr. (Stella), Joann Lamatrice (Joe Zullo), Anthony Lamatrice (Herminia); cherished grandma of Jason, Nicholas, Ryan, Bobbie Jo, Brandy, Rachel, Sara, Emily, Joey, Johnathan and great grandma of Preston, Brooke, Bailey, Paige, Becca, Parker, J.B., Gavin, Leanna; dearest sister of Vincent "Jim" (deceased) (Virginia, deceased), baby Leonard (deceased), Carmelo "Joe" (Susan, deceased) and Rosemary Webb (deceased); dear aunt and great aunt of many.

Betty had a smile that would light up the room and make everyone feel welcome. She was a selfless, warm, strong, and genuine woman. She loved people and life. She had a sweetness and kindness that came through as she encouraged those around her (no matter what she was going through). She amazingly used technology (Facebook and texting) even at the age of 85. Her posts brought smiles to everyone who knew her! She was an avid Cleveland sports fan, and she happily showed her support by decorating the house and wearing the apparel of her teams proudly!

She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She can now be reunited with Joe, the love of her life!

Friends may call at GOLUBSKI DELIBERATO FUNERAL HOME, 4747 TURNEY RD., CORNER OF GARFIELD BLVD., FOR VISITATION TUESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2024 FROM 4-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 10:00am at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 4750 Turney Rd, Garfield Hts., OH 44125 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment All Saints Cemetery.
