Joseph Cech II Obituary

It's with both sadness and peace that we said goodbye to Joseph A. Cech II on Sunday, March 28th. Joe passed away comfortably at his home in Florida, surrounded by love, after a battle with advanced prostate cancer. He was 79.

Joe loved to surround himself with good people, and good people loved to surround him.
Whether it was among the many joyous (albeit frustrating) hours on Canterbury's golf course or during his 41 year career at Third Federal Savings, he was a friend to all. He had a gregarious spirit and he expressed it with quick smiles and warm handshakes.

He was a loyal husband to his wife Hermine (preceded in death), cherished brother to Mary Ann Ryan, incredible father to his son Jay Cech and daughter-in-law Julie Cech, an affectionate Grandpa to his three energetic grandchildren Jens, Anders, and Madsen Cech, and wonderful partner in his later years to Barbara Laughlin,

We look forward to celebrating his life at Canterbury Country Club at a future date.
