Joseph F. Twardzik

Joseph F. Twardzik, age 98; beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. (nee Lisiecki); devoted father of Carol Krause (Regan), Jeff Twardzik (Sandy), Gary Twardzik (Nancy Morris), and Joe Twardzik (Lisa); cherished grandfather of Elizabeth (Nate), Edward (Jennelle), Gina (Chad), Andrew (Elizabeth), Margaret (Michael), Christine (deceased), Rachel, Emma, and Michael (Madeline); loving great grandfather of Sophie, Lyla, Olivia, Abriana, Nolan, Wylie, Ophelia, Azariah and Chloe; dearest son of John and Regina (both deceased); caring brother of the following deceased: Ann Charbat, Marie Lewicki, Stanley Twardzik and Jean Slusarczyk. Joe was a decorated Army veteran of WWII, receiving the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Amvets and Catholic War Veterans. He enjoyed square dancing, golf and bowling. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence at 10:00am.
