Laura Jeanne Spencer

Laura Jeanne Spencer, age 68, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2021 in Beulah, MI surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland, OH on October 20, 1952 to the late Robert and Elaine (Hart) Spencer.

Laura was a nurse and respiratory therapist for over 30 years caring for patients at Medina General Hospital, Barberton Hospital and Lincare Home Health Care. After retiring from her medical profession, she was elected the Clerk for the Village of Beulah. She was committed to her family, loved music, dancing, cooking and cultivating plants with her green thumb. A beautiful woman inside and out, her heart was pure, her love ran deeply, and her faith was strong. She will be dearly missed.
Laura is survived by her partner and best friend of 25 years, Corey Beck; son Michael (Althea) Newman of Medina; daughter Joya Newman of Wadsworth; son Marty (Angie) Newman of Wadsworth; daughter Kelly Newman of Canal Fulton; sister Sharon (Charles) Hallberg; sisters-in-law Carol Spencer and Jill Spencer; grandchildren Nicholas (Kari), Zachary, Kyla, Treasure, Jacob, Aurora, Camren, Jeremy and Hailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elaine (Hart) Spencer and her bothers Tim Spencer and Dan Spencer
