Richard Vainer Obituary

Richard A. Vainer died peacefully at his home in Maple Heights, OH on May 8 at the age of 89. Richard is survived by his wife, Audrey (Keller) Vainer (85), of Maple Heights, OH. Richard was born in 1931 in Cleveland, OH to Felix R. Vainer and Mary N. Unger. He graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1949. Richard served his country as a US Navy seaman aboard the USS Roosevelt during the Korean War. He married Audrey in 1954, and they settled in Maple Heights. Richard taught gardening and landscaping for the Cleveland School District. He also enjoyed travel and photography, and was a devoted member of Rockside Assembly of God. Internment will be private.
