Robert W. Zepp, age 81; beloved husband of the late Gloria Jean (nee Giuliani); loving father of Jean Kanzinger (Greg), Lori Zepp, and Lisa Swiecicki (Jeff); devoted grandfather of Dominic Matras, Virginia Kanzinger, Benjamin Swiecicki, Giuliana Matras, Anthony Matras, Marie Kanzinger, and Samuel Swiecicki; dear brother of Rev. Anthony Zepp (deceased), Dorothy Reitz (deceased) (Norman, deceased); Lois Bogucki (Ron), Rose Borcuch (Robert, deceased), Patricia Primer (Gerald) and Edward (deceased) (Margie); dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Bob grew up in Cleveland, the son of the late Dorothy (nee Zienkowski) and the late Anthony Zepp. Bob and his wife Gloria were classmates throughout elementary and high school at Holy Name in Cleveland where they graduated in 1958. They were married at Holy Name Church in 1960. In the 1960s, Bob served in the Army National Guard where he met his dear friend the late George Ehrman. He managed and worked at Giuliani's grocery store, a family business, at E. 93rd & Harvard before beginning a wonderful 42-year career with Heinen's in their warehouse. "Papa Bobby" was a loving and devoted grandfather who enjoyed watching his grandchildren perform as athletes and musicians. Bob helped anyone in need and loved long drives in the country and listening to music. He was a kind and generous soul and will be dearly missed.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 4750 Turney Rd., Garfield Heights, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00am.
