Terry resided in Cleveland, Ohio, never being far from Ohio City where he spent the majority of his years surrounded by his many and devoted friends. He was a 1966 graduate of Holy Name High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany.
Terry enjoyed all sports but was remembered for his young skills on the football field, his softball with "The Killer Bees" and his love of golf. He liked to cook and many may have enjoyed his tacos on Tuesdays at Hooples in Cleveland or more recently his self proclaimed perfect apple pie. Terry loved the challenge of a good crossword puzzle.
Terry will be remembered for his carefree approach to life and his delight in being in the company of friends. He loved a game of Pinnacle, watching sports or sharing a drink or story. He could argue a strong case at the holiday dinner table or quietly observe all the commotion of a large family gathering. Terry lived a simple life with few expectations. In his words, "I lived a good life, I'm ready to go.
His family would like to thank his friends for their love and support through his years, particularly during his last few months.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please honor Terry by having a drink in his memory, raising a toast to his life, and remembering his spirit at Clark Bar and the memories he leaves behind. A private family service will be held.
